Voltage Suppressors
Voltage suppressors are rectifier avalanche diodes that dissipate power pulse in the breakdown region of the reverse volt-ampere curve within a limited period of time. They are used for protection of semiconductor power devices and capacitors from switching surges, as well as to limit voltage in electrical equipment at frequencies up to 500 Hz.
